(Ozu)
If I’m going out
Then I’m packing lunch
If I’m staying in
Learn to give a fuck
I might buy a snake
Raise it like my son
Teach it how to drive
I hope that I see my baby snake in its prime
I hope the shit I did was worth it
I hope they write my name in cursive
I hope they talk about me in a Ted Talk about killing it
Or that they see my in court
Call my snake up to the stand
Ask him if I was a good dad
He can’t take an oath
He ain’t got no hands
(Justice Cow)
My blood ancestors
Snakestrong together
Split tongues aren’t evil
My dad believes me
I’m silly
I’m sly
Sting slightly
Cause I eat prey love in my spare time
I say love first
If I’m going out
Then I’m packing lunch
If I’m staying in
Learn to give a fuck
I might buy a snake
Raise it like my son
Teach it how to drive
I hope that I see my baby snake in its prime
I hope the shit I did was worth it
I hope they write my name in cursive
I hope they talk about me in a Ted Talk about killing it
Or that they see my in court
Call my snake up to the stand
Ask him if I was a good dad
He can’t take an oath
He ain’t got no hands
(Justice Cow)
No hands
No sweat glands
No eyelids
But I am a loved snake
And my dad’s great
(Ozu)
Lethargic moving ghrough water balloons I’m consuming
Squeeze me so tight that I don’t have to prove it
Feel good so I can take my conscious and abuse it
In the right way
It’s alright to say :“Hit me with a truck, I want to die today”
I’m responsible so I keep my mouth shut
Fill it with mineral water set to self-destruct
Stereo signal distraught
Ain’t no more cars on the lot
Can’t find my keys in the dark
Can’t remember why I ever decided to play the part
I’m a tarantula with a pastry shop
I don’t pay taxes fuck it man call the cops
I’m a snake, I can make it on no sleep
Psyche I’m a loser
I’m just feeling fucking lonely
Thinking bout the time that somebody called me a marshmallow sitting on the school bus
Thinking about how when the credits roll, I’ll only be 25 I’ll still have a ways to go
And the post-game looking like a 4/10
This thing looking like it’ll only ever be known by my friends
If I try really hard, maybe it’ll be known by a few
Enough for them to say
They only like the early Ozu
I don’t give a fuck if it’s coming from you
Can’t really tell you what i want you to do
And I swear and I swear and I swear
And I swear and I swear and I swear

Adam Neely and Shawn Crowder reignited my love of jazz as an innovative exploration of music and rhythm.
Because of Sungazer I'm saving up to buy a bass and start playing again. Andrew Morris

Most of this album is a collection of clever and catchy musical ideas from the realms of jazz, electronic, and experimental music; but the title track is something else entirely. It's a beautiful work of art with danceable drums and synths establishing a floor for Justice Cow to tell a story about her perspective with her beautiful voice. This is artpop if I have ever heard music that could be described as such. dharmalogos
Wonderfully absurdist pop songs that manage the tricky balance of humor and hookiness—The Exquisite Corpse as ’60s pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 4, 2022
Delightfully unpredictable debut from a New York electronic producer and composer with backgrounds in psychedelic rock, jazz, and indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
Don't be fooled by the iridescent sheen of this glitchy electro-pop artist from London; her music has a tender heart. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2021

This album is a wild ride. Almost every attempted blend of genre and moods lands right on point. I have a special soft spot for The Floor Is Lava- such an authentic representation of childhood nostalgia. Neunauge
