lyrics
Trace amounts of positive leverage
I could sure use a beverage
God hand to the sidewalk
Upside-down? I look presidential
Right-side up I’m self-referential
This beat had so much potential
Then i added like 17 plugins
My rap career looking like Benjamin Button
My rap career look like Jamie Lee Curtis
I’m rising up to the surface
I’m falling down to the bottom
Hit it with the devil
Then I crawl out your furnace
Get up and make a panini
Then i go back in your furnace
Now they got the kid quarantined
so you know what that means
Now I live your furnace
Tell no one other than the people who told you not to stop her
Take it for granted
You should be proud of the things you’ve had your hand in
Let’s keep this between us
I hope no one can see us
Show me where it hurts
Tell me how it could be worse
I can complain
Credit got declined b
But the album’s gettin signed
I can complain
Mobile on the weekend
So my toilet always leaking
I can complain
My appointment was at 11:30
Didn’t see anyone until 12:30
Pray to god that I live to see 30
Maybe I am the only one who can cure me
Maybe I’m the only one who can lie
To myself act like I don’t know why
A little motive hasn’t kept me in line
A little stolen time
Never rewind
Tell no one other than the people who told you not to stop her
Take it for granted
You should be proud of the things you’ve had your hand in
Let’s keep this between us
I hope no one can see us
Shut it down, I can’t hold a pencil
Can’t say my days are eventful
These notes will not save you
Forget the words make it an instrumental
Forget the headache it’s an accidental
Forget I had no more gas
Forget the way that I felt on those days
Before I decided I’ll never surrender
Finding my way through the tall grass
Hop in a ship I ain’t coming back
Falling down for eternity
Landmine my reality
Wish I could cut off your empathy
Sew it back on
That’s a surgery

Adam Neely and Shawn Crowder reignited my love of jazz as an innovative exploration of music and rhythm.
Because of Sungazer I'm saving up to buy a bass and start playing again. Andrew Morris

Most of this album is a collection of clever and catchy musical ideas from the realms of jazz, electronic, and experimental music; but the title track is something else entirely. It's a beautiful work of art with danceable drums and synths establishing a floor for Justice Cow to tell a story about her perspective with her beautiful voice. This is artpop if I have ever heard music that could be described as such. dharmalogos
Wonderfully absurdist pop songs that manage the tricky balance of humor and hookiness—The Exquisite Corpse as ’60s pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 4, 2022
Delightfully unpredictable debut from a New York electronic producer and composer with backgrounds in psychedelic rock, jazz, and indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
Don't be fooled by the iridescent sheen of this glitchy electro-pop artist from London; her music has a tender heart. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2021

This album is a wild ride. Almost every attempted blend of genre and moods lands right on point. I have a special soft spot for The Floor Is Lava- such an authentic representation of childhood nostalgia. Neunauge
